Hair / eyebrow transplantation
Hair transplantation
(own hair transplantation)
A full head of hair is subconsciously and automatically associated with youthfulness and success.
Hair loss is therefore very unpleasant for many people because it cannot be stopped and progresses slowly but surely. The hair situation gets worse and worse, which often puts a massive strain on our self-confidence and quality of life. In some cases, this ends in severe depression.
Hair loss is not only a major problem for men, but also often affects women. It can have many causes and can occur as a result of hormonal changes, depending on age or genetic causes.
With a hair transplant, it is possible to regain hair in a painless and comfortable way. The new head of hair not only changes your appearance, it also has a positive effect on the patient's psyche.
Only an experienced and professional team can achieve very good results, as hair transplantation requires skill and technological ability. Before the hair transplant, the patient receives a comprehensive consultation tailored to their needs. Offering patients an optimal result with excellent service and a pleasant atmosphere is an important concern of DiaMonD Aesthetics.
At DiaMonD Aesthetics, hair transplants are performed exclusively using the FUE (Follicle Unit Extraction) and DHI (Direct Hair Implantation) methods.

Today, the DHI method is considered the most modern and gentle way of transplanting hair
Thanks to this method, moustache, beard and eyebrow transplants are also possible.
Compared to the strip technique / FUT (Follicular Unit Extraction), transplanting hair using the FUE technique is scar-free and gentle. The healing time is considerably shorter. There are no incisions or scars in the donor region. There are only small abrasions with a minimal diameter of approx. 0.3 mm, which heal without a trace in a few days.
With the FUE method, each hair is removed individually and with the DHI method it is transplanted immediately so that the hair roots cannot dry out and die.
First, the hair in the donor area is trimmed. The area is locally anesthetized before the procedure so that the patient does not feel any pain. The hair follicles are extracted using special micromotors, which are used to quickly and safely remove the follicles in the donor area. The hair is harvested in a centered position, paying close attention to the direction of growth of the individual hair. The follicle and the tissue surrounding it are thus cylindrically exposed from the adherent tissue and then removed individually from the donor area using micro forceps. This automated method prevents wastage of follicles and significantly shortens the duration of the operation.
After the follicles have been harvested intact in this way, they are planted in even tinier channels. The way in which the hair root is extracted from the donor area is just as important as inserting it in the direction of growth in order to maintain the natural appearance of the hairline. A natural hairline and appearance are of great importance after a hair transplant. Naturally growing hair brings with it a strong sense of self-confidence.
The transplanted hair will generally fall out after one month. After a further 2-3 months, however, they will grow back and no longer fall out. The new hair is visible 6 months after the operation, but the best result is visible after about a year.
Will the implanted hair fall out again?
The transplanted hairs are taken from the area that is coded not to fall out. This means that the transplanted hair does not fall out at all*. The ingrowth rate can be increased by autologous blood therapy immediately after the hair transplant and by a further 2 sessions.
(*) No guarantee in the event of personal negligence due to incorrect use of medication or incorrect care in the first 4 weeks!
Is hair transplantation possible for women?
The problem of hair loss is different for women than for men. Women are usually more likely to suffer from diffuse hair thinning. The testosterone level in women is lower, so there can be very different reasons for hair loss in women. Your doctor should therefore first investigate the cause of the problem. The result is decisive for the decision on a hair transplant. In the case of androgenetic alopecia in women, the characteristics of the hair and scalp play an important role in being considered as a candidate for a hair transplant.
The same donor area is also used for women as for men (between both ears, above the neck). The FUE method is used again. The hair roots are removed individually and placed again individually in the same way. It is not necessary to shorten the hair in women.
Modern hair transplantation in combination with autohaemotherapy or, in mild cases, autohaemotherapy alone helps women to improve their individual hair situation and thus alleviate or even completely eliminate the associated psychological drama.
